This training provides an accessible introduction to renewable energy and its role in sustainable development of the different end-use sectors with a particular focus on the power sector.

- Eligibility: Only professionals working at INETTT member think tanks are eligible to apply; foundational knowledge of renewable energy recommended
- Participation: Free of charge (travel, accommodation and meals covered; participants are responsible for additional expenses)

- Fundamentals of energy systems and renewables in energy transitions
- Diverse power market structures and how RE integration affects the market
- Role and constraints of regulators in the power markets
- Socio-economic-political dimensions to achieve holistic energy transitions
