INETTT Annual Forum 2026

INETTT member representatives from across the International Network of Energy Transition Think Tanks (INETTT) will gather in Antalya, Türkiye, for one of the network's most significant milestones of the year.

This INETTT Annual Forum (IAF) is a dedicated space for advancing joint policy research, sharing knowledge, and fostering cross-border collaboration.

Co-hosted with our local member think tank, SHURA, the Forum will connect INETTT’s global expertise with Türkiye’s energy context and build on the momentum ahead of COP31, which will also be held in Antalya. In doing so, the IAF contributes to fostering deeper understanding and stronger ties between INETTT think tanks and regions.

Over the course of one week, INETTT members will:

• Review and align on network priorities and INETTT’s thematic Working Groups.
• Learn from Türkiye's energy landscape and exchange regional experiences.
• Explore power systems in transition across different contexts.
• Build familiarity with data in power system modelling.
• Link cross-cutting issues to energy transitions
• Explore industry decarbonisation challenges and green industrial policy.
• Reflect on communications in energy transitions and their role in it.

The IAF catalyses INETTT’s collective expertise to address the systemic challenges of energy transitions and develop innovative policy solutions.

By focusing on connecting energy, socio-economic, and financial perspectives, the programme encourages INETTT members to explore how these dimensions can enable successful and durable transitions, strengthen their economic and social foundations, and ensure that energy systems remain people-centred and equitable.
