About this training

INETTT and Agora Industry are excited to announce the Industry Transformation Training, a five-day intensive programme designed to equip professionals from INETTT member think tanks with the knowledge, skills, and networks needed to drive industrial decarbonisation in their regions. This INETTT-exclusive training event will bring together 12 mid-career professionals for a dynamic and collaborative learning experience, focusing on real-world challenges, policy opportunities, and cross-sector collaboration.

  • Dates: 28 September – 2 October 2026  

  • Location: Bangkok, Thailand  

  • Participation: Free of charge (travel of up to EUR 1,300 & accommodation covered)  

  • Eligibility: Mid-career professionals (4–6 years’ relevant work experience minimum) from INETTT member think tanks 

  • Deadline: Friday, 15 May 2026  

Programme

This training is more than just a learning opportunity—it’s a chance to be part of a growing community of professionals committed to driving sustainable industrial transformation. Through a variety of interactive methods, the training will explore key themes, including:  

  • Technologies and strategies for low-carbon transitions  
  • Policy and regulatory frameworks for industrial decarbonisation  
  • Trade and international collaboration  
  • Financial and social aspects of the transition  
  • Communicating policy opportunities and shaping effective narratives 

Participants will: 

  • Broaden their knowledge about context-specific industrial decarbonisation pathways.
  • Assess and then communicate compellingly on policy opportunities for advancing industrial transformation in their countries. 
  • Advance a challenge related to industry decarbonisation — grounded in the realities of your own context and think tank. 
  • Map relevant opportunities for collaboration and shared activities to build broader transition alliances.
