Women Leadership for Energy Transition Think Tank Representatives
Through mentorship, targeted learning, and high-impact networking, this programme will support talented women in advancing their careers and stepping into leadership roles within the energy sector.
INETTT’s new skills-sharing programme: Women Leadership for Energy Transition Think Tank Representatives kicked off with a webinar in December 2025.
Implemented jointly with our partner, the Global Women’s Network for the Energy Transition (GWNET), the initiative is designed to empower female professionals from INETTT member institutions to become influential leaders driving the global energy transition.
- In the exclusive mentoring programme, 15 selected female representatives from INETTT member organisations are each connected with a mentor. The pairing corresponds to the mentee’s professional goals. Through one-to-one sessions, mentors will provide guidance, share knowledge, and support mentees in navigating their career development pathways.
- The mentors are experienced energy professionals from 11 different countries and hold a wide range of expertise in energy policy, research, and practice. All of them share a common goal: supporting female energy professionals and fostering inclusive leadership within the energy transition.
- Mentees also participate in a comprehensive online course covering both technical and personal development topics, structured into four distinct modules.
Through targeted initiatives such as the Women Leadership programme, INETTT aims to promote gender equality in the energy sector, enhance technical skills, and increase women’s representation in the energy transition field and in leadership.
