Welcome to our new members!

We are delighted to welcome Alinnea, Carboun Institute and Southern Transitions to INETTT.

The International Network of Energy Transition Think Tanks (INETTT) has expanded its membership with three new organisations. Together, these new members will strengthen INETTT's geographic reach and thematic expertise across Europe, the MENA region and Africa.

  • Alinnea (Spain) delivers actionable solutions to address obstacles to climate action and is hosted by IE University in Madrid. The think tank supports effective and equitable climate action through research, dialogue and stakeholder engagement on just transition, climate finance and industrial decarbonisation.
  • Carboun Institute (The Netherlands) is an independent climate and energy think tank working to support evidence-based policy solutions across the MENA region. Through rigorous research on decarbonisation pathways, climate resilience and diplomacy, as well as regional convening and engagement with decision-makers, it helps translate analysis into actionable outcomes.
  • Southern Transitions (South Africa) advances just transitions in the Global South, with a particular focus on Africa. In its work on climate finance, green industrialisation and evidence-based policy development, the think tank bridges public and private actors to generate ideas, evidence and experiments for the transition.

We look forward to collaborating and advancing ambitious, evidence-based energy transition policies together.
